Dear Women's & Girls Clubs
We have organised for a 'Vipers' Dorset W&Gs Champions course to run on the 21st and 28th of April at Lytchett Manor Sports Centre, BH16 6JD from 1pm to 5pm on each day. Even though it is called a 'Champions' course it is open to anyone in the W&Gs game to attend. This course is being put on free of charge to those that wish to attend and is aimed at training clubs on recruitment, umpiring and scoring on Day 1 and then a Coach Support Worker course on Day 2. The 2 days are separate from each other so if someone wishes to attend just Day 1 of the course they can do, similarly if they just wanted to attend Day 2 of the course they can as well. If they want to attend both days then they will need to sign up separately for each day.
We are able to provide this course to the W&Gs clubs through the funding we have received to support W&Gs softball cricket in Dorset in 2018. This course is available to anyone involved in W&Gs cricket to attend and is totally free of charge. Please feel free to pass this information to any of your women members, players or officials. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the game with the aim of assisting teams to become more self sufficient in running their own matches or training in the future.
As the course is over 2 days and those interested have the option of attending either 1 or both days, we have had to set up 2 separate sign ups for each day that can be found below:
