The Dorset County Cricket Club aspires to make cricket accessible to all. One of the objectives of the Disability section of the Club is to provide Dorset residents who have a learning and/or physical disability or who have a hearing impairment with opportunities to engage in the game of cricket, to play at a competitive level and to enjoy the social aspect of the sport.
In 2023, the Disability teams will participate in the ECB Disability County Championships D40 Pursuit Hardball League, the S9 Softball League and the S9 Challenge Softball Festivals.

After a summer season of outdoor matches, the teams enjoy a full timetable of winter indoor training.
