DCB PREMIER LEAGUE CRITERIA AND CONDITIONS (as at 11/3/19)
Criteria for promotion to, and continued acceptance in, Dorset Cricket Board Premier League
1. Minimum of three youth teams, between the ages of under 9s and under 15s, competing in District Summer Leagues.
2. Clubmark Accreditated by 31/10/2019
3. Covers, which can be suitable sheet covering, must be available, both prior and during a match.
4. Sightscreens must be provided at both ends, in good condition.
5. Creases must be remarked between innings
6. Fielding circle discs must be used.
7. Separate and secure changing facilities must be available for umpires.
8. A working clock must be visible from the pitch.
Any clubs wishing to be considered for promotion to, or entry into, the DCB Premier League, must have a minimum of three youth teams, competing in District Summer Leagues for the season in which they intend to be considered for promotion. The club would also need to have started the process of achieving Clubmark accreditation by 31st August in the season they intend to be considered for promotion.
NOTES
A/. For items 1. And 2., should any existing DCB Premier League clubs club fail to achieve either of these criteria, as at 31st August, a warning will be issued. The DCB Premier League Management Committee, with assistance from the Development Office, will work with the club, during the following 12 months, to rectify the situation. However, if the club fails to achieve the same criteria by the 31st August of the following year, the DCB Premier League Management Committee have the right to relegate them to Dorset Cricket League County Division 1.
B/. For items 3-8, should the umpires report that any of these criteria were not complied with in a match, the club will be advised by the League General Secretary, within 7 days. Should a club be reported 3, or more, times for the same offence, during a season, then a warning will be issued. The DCB Premier League Management Committee, with assistance from the Development Office, will work with the club, during the following 12 months, to rectify the situation. However, if the club is reported for failing to meet the same criteria, 3, or more, times in the following season, the DCB Premier League Management Committee have the right to relegate them to Dorset Cricket League County Division 1.
