The new ECB Advanced Coach course replaces the previous Level 3 Performace Coach course. Previously candidates wanting to attend the Level 3 course had to be working in a relevant environment to be able to get a place on the course. This is now no longer the case and anyone from any environment can now apply to attend the ECB Advanced Coach course, as long as they have gained the required qualification up to the ECB Advanced Coach course.
Please be aware that the course costs have increased since it has become the ECB Advanced Coach course as they are no longer providing subsidies for this course. Whilst the course costs have risen has means that they are able to provide more of these course across the Country.
The Dorset Cricket Board have previously supplied a small subsidy to the coaches from Dorset that been given a place on this course. Now any coach is able to access the course this is no longer the case. Subsidies will only be provided to coaches completing this course if the coach is working on the Dorset performance programme (County squads and EPP) and the subsidy has been agreed between the Dorset Cricket Board and the coach before they send their application in. If coaches need to discuss this then please contact Greg Parsons on greg.parsons@dorsetcricketboard.co.uk
