1/. Teams will consist of 6 players.
2/. Matches will be played on a pairs cricket basis, with 12 overs per side.
3/. Each pair will bat for 4 x 6 ball overs.
4/. The team score starts at 200.
5/. 6 runs are deducted for each wicket lost.
6/. No bowler may bowl more than 3 overs.
7/. The batters shall change ends at the end of each over, and every time a wicket is lost. If a batter is out, she will not face the next delivery.
8/. A wide shall count as 3 runs, plus any runs scored. No extra ball shall be awarded. The batter can be out stumped off a wide delivery.
9/. Any delivery that, in the opinion of the square leg umpire, passes the batter, at the crease, at shoulder height or above, will be called 'No Ball'.
In addition, any delivery that bounces more than twice, before the popping crease, will be called 'No Ball'.
SCORING
1/. A ball hitting the boundary wall behind the bowler, without touching another wall first, will score 6 runs if it touches the floor and 4 runs if it does not bounce first.
2/. If the ball hits a side wall, the back wall, or the ceiling, 1 run is scored. Each time the batters complete a run, 3 runs are scored. Therefore, if the ball hits a wall and the batters complete a run, a total of 4 runs are scored.
3/. The scoring for byes and leg byes are the same as above.
4/. 'No Balls' will count as 3 runs, plus any runs that are scored off the delivery. No additional ball will be bowled.
5/. An overthrow hitting any wall will count as 1 extra run.
6/. Any ball lodged in the netting for more than 5 seconds (in the opinion of the umpire), shall be called dead and will count as 1 run, unless it has touched the ground first, in which case any runs completed by the batters will count.
METHODS OF DISMISSAL

1/. The batter may be caught off any wall, (except a direct hit onto the boundary wall), and the ceiling, provided the ball has not touched the floor.
