The Dorset Cricket Board have organised a 'Safe Hands for Welfare Officers' course to be run on Thursday the 8th of March 2012 from 7pm to 10pm. The course will be held at The Leaze, Wimborne CC, Kings Street, Wimborne, Dorset, BH21 1DY. Cost of the course is £10 per person.

The Club Welfare Officer must attend the 'Safe Hands for Welfare Officers' course which advises on the role, requirements and responsibility of child protection in Clubs. Priority for attendance will be given to Clubmark and Focus Clubs. The course certificate is valid for 3 years and then will need to be repeated.
