PLAYING CONDITIONS

The Laws of Cricket shall apply with the following eceptions:

1/. Matches shall consist of 1 innings per side, commencing at 6.00pm

2/. Each innings shall be of 20 overs duration, unless a team is bowled out in less than 20 overs.

3/. Should weather conditions prevent a prompt start, or stop play in the first innings, then the umpires must deduct 1 over from each team's batting allotment for every 7 minutes lost.

4/. Should weather conditions stop play in the second innings, then the umpires must deduct 1 over for every 3 1/2 minutes lost. In this case, the result will be decided by the superior runs scored per over.

5/. Each team must bat a minimum of 10 overs, unless bowled out, for it to be deemed a match.

6/. No bowler may bowl more than 4 overs in a match.

7/. Batsmen must retire on reaching 50 and will not return to the crease.

- If the last 2 batsmen are at the wicket, and one batsman reaches 50, he should then act as a runner, until the other batsman is either out, reaches 50, or the team wins. If either of the batsmen are run out, the innings will end.

8/. In the event of the scores being equal, the winner shall be determined as follows:

(a) The side which has lost the fewer wickets.

(b) If still equal, the side with the higher score after 19 overs.

(c) If still equal, the side with the higher score after 18 overs, etc
